Our Camera: Canon Powershot A640

With 10 megapixels and a 4x optical zoom this camera is a significant upgrade from our previous one megapixel no zoom model. We also enjoy the 2.5" flip screen which is handy for over head, self portrait and other unusual shots. We use a 4 GB SD card and for underwater shots we have an
aquapac camera case. We also carry and use a Vanguard VS41 Flexible MiniTripod available on amazon
here.
My (Andrew's) Old Camera (replaced April 2006)
Here is my digital camera which I used to take many of the pictures on this site. I got it in the fall of 2000 and even back then it was a pretty basic model. I used it until I replaced it in April 2006 but it served me well until then. I used a Lexar Media 48 MB CompactFlash card and I used the USB cable that came with the card to transfer pictures to the computer. I also use an aquapac camera case to take pictures in the water.
